 FAQs

  • I travel to clients throughout Montgomery County, MD. I also see clients in office at Strong Ties in Rockville, MD.

I provide virtual breastfeeding support throughout the USA.

  • Each visit is one hour, one-on-one in your home, gym, or office, or in my Rockville office location.

  • I am out of network with insurance - this allows me to work for you, and not your insurance company. Many insurances have out of network benefits, and I can provide a superbill (detailed receipt of services) for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Natural Fit Physio is not a Medicare Provider and the law prevents me from providing skilled physical therapy services to Medicare beneficiaries. If you have met goals in traditional PT, are looking for supplemental care, or are interested in a program to enhance overall wellness related to aging, please inquire about a wellness program.

  • The biggest benefit is that you get better faster, in fewer visits. Having more time to spend one-on-one with you allows me to tailor each treatment session to meet your needs, rather than handing you off to a tech or working to meet goals your insurance company wants you to meet to check a box.

Additionally, fewer visits can ultimately result in similar costs - if you have 3 times as many visits at a traditional clinic with a copay, you may end up paying more for your care than you realize!

  • See below for session pricing and package discounts. I accept all major credit cards, as well as FSA and HSA cards. I also accept Zelle payments and personal checks.

  • Call your insurance company. Let them know you want to see a physical therapist that is out of network, and ask what your reimbursement rate is. If you do not have out of network benefits, you can ask if payments will be applied toward your deductible.

  • No! I bring a mobile treatment table if needed, as well as some basic equipment. We can use the equipment (bands, weights, machines, etc) that you have, or we can adapt to using no equipment if that’s what you prefer.

  • Physical therapy can help with many injuries and chronic conditions, as well as wellness and prevention. If you are unsure if PT is right for you, fill out the inquiry form and we can set up a free 15 minute consult!

  • Absolutely! Although my focus is on women and moms who often don’t get the care they deserve in our healthcare system, I am happy to work with clients of any gender and with a variety of diagnoses. I have 10+ years experience and spent most of that time in general orthopedic clinics and practices, where I learned to treat a wide range of conditions.

  • The Thompson Method challenges the forceful techniques that are linked with painful nipple trauma, that are commonly taught in most hospitals.

It’s for ALL women who want to breastfeed but particularly those giving birth in the hospital system because it offers a gentle alternative to help women AVOID the most common and painful breastfeeding complications

But it’s more than just the technique on how to get a good latch. It is that, but it’s also a belief in educating women about how breastmilk is produced, how baby’s oral cavity works to feed, and how each woman and her baby is unique. It’s about knowing your instincts will always be right.

  • With all the conflicting information women are given about breastfeeding, it can often feel overwhelming. The Thompson Method focuses on empowering mothers to trust their maternal instincts. It is a gentle approach, with no forceful techniques, with a focus on educating mothers so that they can make the best decisions for themselves and their babies.
